Christy loved Mahjong — the laughter, the calm focus, the connection — but every set she owned was heavy, bulky, and meant to stay indoors. None of it reflected the lifestyle she loved: light, carefree, and coastal.
So she decided to create something entirely new.
That’s Mahj was born from a love of design and a passion for play.
What started as a personal project quickly grew into a brand dedicated to reimagining Mahjong for modern life — beautiful enough for display, light enough to travel, and durable enough to float.

Every set is designed and crafted locally in Rosemary Beach, using innovative 3D printing technology.
We print, test, and hand-finish each piece ourselves — no outsourcing, no shortcuts.
Our floating tiles and travel-ready cases are minimalist, lightweight, and built to go wherever life takes you: poolside, beachside, or across the country.
